Stephen Warnock has dismissed reports that he has asked to leave Blackburn Rovers.
The full-back was reported to have handed in a transfer request amid suggestions he wants to join Brad Friedel and David Bentley in leaving Ewood Park.
However, the England international has moved to reject speculation that he is planning to jump ship before the start of the new Premier League season.
"The reports are rubbish, I have not handed in a transfer request," Warnock told the club's official website.
Warnock committed his future to Rovers at the end of the last campaign when he signed a new four-year contract.
He has attracted interest over the summer, with Newcastle United having a £2million offer rejected by Blackburn.
Everton were also linked with a swap bid involving Leighton Baines, but Rovers are determined to hang on to the former Liverpool defender.
Blackburn boss Paul Ince admitted earlier this week that he does not expect to lose any more members of his squad before the transfer window closes.
