Blackburn defender Zurab Khizanishvili has signed a new deal with the club that will see him remain at Ewood Park until summer 2011.
Khizanishvili originally arrived at Blackburn on a year-long loan deal from Rangers in 2005 but boss Mark Hughes soon tied him down with a three-year contract.
The Georgian captain has not featured as much as he would have liked to in the Rovers side over the last 12 months but it did not prevent him from penning the new three-year deal.
The 26-year-old, who also counts Dundee amongst his former clubs, has started just three times for Rovers this campaign.
