Cardiff have signed Blackburn goalkeeper Peter Enckelman on loan until the end of the season.
Enckelman has struggled to make the breakthrough at Ewood Park with Brad Friedel the established No.1 in Mark Hughes' plans.
The 30-year-old has made only three first-team appearances since arriving at Blackburn from Aston Villa in 2004.
Hughes is willing to loan Enckelman out as he has Jason Brown available as cover for Friedel.
The Finnish international is set to go straight into the Cardiff squad for this weekend's game with Sheffield Wednesday.
