Blackburn's David Dunn is hoping to remind Sam Allardyce of why he was keen on signing him back in January.
While Allardyce was still in charge at Bolton he attempted to bring the 27-year-old midfielder, who was then at Birmingham, to the Reebok Stadium.
However, Dunn chose to rejoin Rovers and he is now eyeing an impressive display at Ewood Park on Saturday in a bid to remind Newcastle boss Allardyce of what he missed out on.
"Hopefully, I can do well against Newcastle and remind Sam why he wanted to sign me," he said.
"He was great when I decided to come back here. He knew deep down there was only one place I wanted to go.
"Maybe it's a good job I didn't join Bolton as he was gone a few months later!"
