Shabani Nonda is determined to win himself a permanent deal at Blackburn.
The Congo international is currently on loan at Ewood Park from Italian side Roma.
Rovers boss Mark Hughes has revealed he will not make a decision on Nonda's future until the end of the season.
Nonda, who scored a crucial away goal in Blackburn's Uefa Cup defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, is enjoying life at Ewood Park and is hopeful of earning a permanent stay at the club.
"My mind is just to finish the season here - there are still a lot of games to come and I'm just thinking about them," said Nonda.
"But I like it at Blackburn and I like playing in the Premiership so staying here is something I'd consider.
"However, it is not just up to me. I have to show the club that they should try to sign me permanently.
"There are still at least 12 or 13 games before the year ends for me to do as well as I can."
