Pedersen ready for loan move

Blackburn Rovers' Morten Gamst Pedersen admits he would consider a loan move.

Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen admits he would consider a loan move back to former club Tromso.

The Norway international has fallen out of favour at Ewood Park and has grown disillusioned with life on the bench.

Pedersen was brought to Lancashire by Graeme Souness but since the Scotsman's switch to Newcastle, the 23-year-old has struggled to impress new boss Mark Hughes.

The player made a rare appearance at the weekend against Cardiff in the FA Cup, where he scored, but nevertheless is seeking immediate talks over his future.

''Right now, I don't rule anything out,'' said Pedersen. ''I want to play football matches and changing clubs is an option.

''It's not correct that I will just talk to Mark Hughes.

''I will have a talk with the entire board of directors. We can hopefully settle issues regarding my future at the club.

''I am truly enjoying myself off the pitch. The environment is decent and there are many nice team-mates.

''But I want to play football every week and not every third week, that puts you down.''
