BLACKBURN ROVERS are understood to have found an agreement with Parma over Slovakian defender Vratislav Gresko.
The 25-year-old full back has impressed during his loan stay at Ewood Park, after joining from Parma in January.
Leeds were linked with a possible move, but their summer transfer plans are largely dictated by what they can raise from further sales and so they cannot make any move at present.
Rovers, though, have always had first refusal on the player and they have managed to come to agreement with their Italian counterparts.
Planetfootball understand that Rovers have secured Gresko for around £1.5 million - which represents a true bargain in today's transfer market.
Rovers are now to agree personal terms with the player, but that should not prove a problem and Graeme Souness should have Gresko signed and sealed in the next few weeks.
