The World Cup semi-finalists have named a 21-man party for Wednesday's tussle with the Azzurri.
Aside from Blackburn midfielder Tugay and Aston Villa defender Alpay, the remaining four foreign-based players are Internazionale duo Okan Buruk and Emre Belozoglu, Bayer Leverkusen's Yildiray Basturk and Real Sociedad's Nihat Kahveci.
Italy coach Giovanni Trapattoni has found his job under threat and is hoping to use the clash against Turkey to lift morale.
He said: "I know the world of football. I do not worry about our situation at the moment.
"This is a friendly game but I know it's very important for us."
