CHIEVO coach Luigi Del Neri has revealed the players who have caught his eye at this summer`s World Cup, but admitted he has little money available to strengthen the squad.
The minnows from Verona had an amazing season in Serie A last term, only slipping out of the Champions League places on the final day after leading the pack for a number of weeks.
Del Neri knows the Bentegodi stadium outfit will have to bring in new faces if they are to match their efforts of last term, and he has revealed the names of players he will be mentioning to his chairman, Luca Campedelli.
It would seem that Turkey are a team to have left a deep impression on Del Neri, with quarter final hero Ilhan Mansiz the most prominent.
Speaking about the Besiktas man, Del Neri said: "I did not know Ilhan before, but he looks a real player.
"He scored a super goal. That goal was not a chance event.
"Ilhan can play in Italy, I will speak to the president about taking him.
"Hasan Sas is a good player too. He can change the game in an instant."
Del Neri feels certain players will be out of reach, adding: "We do not have much money, so we cannot buy expensive players."
When asked to comment on other favourites of his at the World Cup, he added: "I like (Damien) Duff, (Rafael) Marquez and (DaMarcus) Beasley."
