Paulinho says that it is 'good' to be linked with Real Madrid but is focused on getting fully fit for Tottenham.
The 25-year-old picked up an ankle injury against Stoke on December 28th but could feature against Manchester City on Wednesday evening.
The Brazilian midfielder has impressed for Tim Sherwood's side since his £17million summer move from Corinthians.
Recent reports have suggested that Real Madrid could make a move for Paulinho, but speaking to Sambafoot, he insists that Tottenham is his focus.
Paulinho said: "I leave these matters with my agent, but without doubt it is good recognition for any player to be coveted by a club with the history of Real Madrid.
"My head, however, is completely focused on returning to play and win at Tottenham."
Paulinho hopes that his form for Tottenham will secure him a starting place in Brazil's World Cup team.
