Hoffenheim goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his hand.
Gomes, who joined the Bundesliga club on loan from Tottenham during the January transfer window, suffered the injury during the win over Fortuna Duesseldorf on Friday.
The 32-year-old was caught by Andreas Lambertz and scans have confirmed Hoffenheim's worst fears.
The Brazilian has impressed during his spell in Germany, but he is set to be sidelined for up to eight weeks with the injury.
Hoffenheim have confirmed Koen Casteels will take over at first-choice keeper for the remainder of the Bundesliga campaign.
