Congo international impressed in European action against Milan

Dieumerci Mbokani's agent believes Juventus currently head the queue to sign the Anderlecht striker - but says Tottenham are also interested. Mbokani was signed by the Belgian club to replace the departed Romelu Lukaku in the summer of 2011 and scored 15 goals last season. His form has caught the attention of a number of European clubs, with Serie A side Juventus currently in pole position according to Fabio Baglio. However the agent has also revealed that Spurs are another club who are monitoring the Congo international's situation.

Contacts

"Juventus is most concrete suitor for Mbokani," Baglio told Het Nieuwsblad. "Their interest is not new, because they followed 'Dieu' when he still played at Standard Liege. "During this summer Juventus came forward late for him, but in the meantime there were contacts between Anderlecht and Juventus. "(The) previous week I was in Turin. I sae the Juventus match, they have an awesome team but there isn't a player like Mbokani. "I don't know if Anderlecht could sell him in January, but there are many candidates." Mbokani made his name at Standard Liege before enjoying an unsuccessful campaign with Monaco, the second half of which he spent on loan in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg. "There is Fiorentina, which is building a new team, and in England Tottenham is the most interested player," Baglio continued. "And then his performance at the San Siro (in their last UEFA Champions League match) did not leave Milan indifferent, either."
