Rafa Benitez's agent has played down reports linking his client with a move to Sampdoria, with it his desire to find a new job in England.
The Spaniard has been out of work since being sacked by Inter Milan in December 2010.
He has been touted as a contender to fill various coaching positions since leaving the Serie A outfit, but is yet to return to the dugout.
Speculation in Italy has suggested that he could be lured into a post at Sampdoria, with the Genoa-based club readying themselves for life back in the top flight.
His agent has been quick to rubbish the rumours, though, with it Benitez's intention to work in England.
No chance
The former Liverpool boss has been mentioned as possible successor to Harry Redknapp at Tottenham, and a Premier League post would hold greater appeal to him.
"There is nothing with Sampdoria," Manuel Garcia Quilon told tuttomercatoweb.com.
"I can 100 per cent confirm that there is no chance (of him going to Sampdoria).
"Where is he now? He is in England and it is his intention to stay there and coach in the Premier League.
