Howe keen on move for United defender
Sky Sports understands Burnley are eyeing a loan move for Manchester United youngster Ezekiel Fryers.
Fryers' future at Old Trafford has been the subject of speculation recently with the defender reportedly snubbing the club's offer of a new deal.
Burnley boss Eddie Howe is thought to have tried to rush through a deal for the versatile defender, who can also play centre-half, before the transfer deadline last month.
However, that deal was thwarted and Howe is now readying a loan bid for the Manchester-born prospect when the loan window opens.
United risk losing Fryers this summer if they fail to agree new terms, with the 19-year-old out of contract at the end of the season.
