Sky Sports understands Tottenham youngster John Bostock is poised to join Sheffield Wednesday on loan.
Wednesday boss Gary Megson is keen to bolster his attacking options and he has lined up a move for Bostock.
Bostock has found himself well down the pecking order in Tottenham's side this season, making just one brief substitute appearance in the FA Cup win over Cheltenham.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is happy to loan out the 20-year-old so that he can get some regular first-team action under his belt.
A number of clubs are thought to have expressed an interest in the former Crystal Palace winger, but Wednesday are set to win the race for his signature as they look to maintain their push for promotion.
