Serbian goalkeeper insists he is happy on loan with Siena

Serbian goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic admits that he is no hurry to leave Serie A, as he continues to impress for Siena. The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Siena from Udinese, and despite their relegation battle he has emerged as one of the best performers this season. Brkic claims that he knows Tottenham have held talks about him, but he insists he is not getting distracted. "I know that before this season there were talks and that Tottenham was interested in me," he told Sportske.

Future

"I think that Tottenham even talked with Udinese but it was all far from a conclusion. I am also in no hurry. "I have just come to Siena and I would like to prove myself on a big stage first. "There will be a lot of time to leave Italy someday in the future. And as I know even Udinese is in no hurry. "In January? I am sure that nothing will happen in next transfer window. "For now, let us say that first contact with Spurs was made but that is all. I am not thinking about leaving."
