Boss Alan Pardew is adamant Newcastle striker Andy Carroll is not leaving the club and is growing frustrated by increased speculation.
Tottenham are reportedly lining up an audacious £30million bid for the England international, but Pardew has assured them not to waste their time.
"It's been going on and on, it's ridiculous, we've said he's not for sale," Pardew told Sky Sports.
"He's not for sale, how many times does it have to be said? They can put together whatever they like. He is not for sale.
"I am going to say it one last time, he is not for sale," he reiterated.
The two sides meet at St James' Park next Saturday, and Pardew is hopeful that Carroll will be fit to line up against his admirers.
He said: "I hope so. He was certainly smarting in the dressing room today wanting to play."
Asked if he was tempted to play Carroll, Pardew replied: "No, not with one leg, no. I think that would have been a bit harsh on the other strikers."
