Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic is set to miss the UEFA Champions League clash with Tottenham next month.
The 32-year-old Serbian star was substituted five minutes after half-time during the win over Spurs at the San Siro on Wednesday night with a calf problem.
He is now set for two weeks on the sidelines following scans on Thursday, meaning he is unlikely to make the trip to White Hart Lane.
Stankovic has been with the Nerazzurri since his move from Lazio in 2004 and has become a regular edition in the Inter side.
Rafa Benitez's team are in a strong position to advance to the Champions League knockout rounds after a thrilling 4-3 victory over Spurs in midweek.
