Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale is hoping to extend the loan deal of Tottenham Hotspur defender Troy Archibald-Henville.
The 21-year-old is enjoying his second loan spell at Exeter, but is due to return to White Hart Lane next week.
Tisdale is in talks with Spurs regarding an extension and admits the Archibald-Henville deal will dictate the rest of his transfer plans this month.
"The first thing I have to do is attempt to get something sorted with Troy because he only has a week left with us," Tisdale told the club's official website.
"Then other decisions will be dictated to by the outcome of that. We are in talks with Spurs now and we have an open mind.
"We would love him to stay, but we have to deal with that one first.
"If it is not Troy then it is someone else and it will change the dynamic of what we do.
"We have told Troy we want him to stay. There are three parties involved in this, we will see."
