Tottenham could be set to offer Gregory Coupet a route to England, according to French sources.
The 34-year-old is reported to be attracting the interest of Juande Ramos - who hopes to bolster his goalkeeping options.
Radek Cerny has already left the club for Queens Park Rangers, whilst Ramos seems unconvinced by England's Paul Robinson.
Coupet could present himself as the ideal option for Spurs - although he does have two years left on his current deal at Stade Gerland.
But Lyon are reportedly open to the move and could soon open talks.
Lyon would need another keeper to compete with Remy Vercoutre and the most serious candidate appears to be Nice's Hugo Lloris.
Lloris - also wanted by Milan - has indicated he would love to move to Lyon and they could use striker Loic Remy as bait.
Remy - coincidentally another Spurs target - could be offered to Nice on loan for the whole of next season with a view to a permanent deal.
