Gus Poyet believes Tottenham Hotspur thoroughly deserved their 1-0 FA Cup third round replay victory over Reading.
Robbie Keane scored the only goal of the game on 15 minutes, in a match of few clear-cut chances.
Spurs will play Manchester United in the fourth round at Old Trafford on 27th January, and Poyet is sure that his players have the quality to defeat last year's runners-up.
"I think we played very well, controlled the game and deserved to win," he told Sky Sports.
"It is going to be massive (the game against Manchester United). It is going to be a very good day for the supporters as well.
"It is going to be tough but not impossible."
Paul Robinson did not feature for Tottenham after his wife gave birth on Monday, however rumours continue to circulate on whether he will remain at White Hart Lane.
But when asked if Robinson had a future at Spurs, Poyet said: "He does."
