West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has confirmed the club are talking with a couple of teams about Curtis Davies.
The wantaway stopper is desperate to seal a move away from The Hawthorns after they failed to win promotion back to the Premier League last season.
Davies feels his career would be hampered if he remained and is anxious to be playing in the top-flight.
Both Tottenham and Aston Villa have been stongly linked and now Mowbray has confirmed talks are ongoing.
"I think there has been dialogue with a club or two about Curtis Davies," said Mowbray.
"But at this moment in time there has been no agreement.
"There is really nothing further to say on the matter at this stage."
