Lyon have ruled out selling midfielder Kim Kallstrom, having rebuffed a new offer from Valencia.
Premier League pair Tottenham and Manchester City, as well as Valencia, are keen on Kallstrom, but Lyon have no interest in letting the Sweden international leave the Stade Gerland.
Valencia are extremely eager to land Kallstrom, and have been rumoured to be willing to offer Fernando Morientes in exchange for the 24-year-old after failing with an 11million euros (£7.4million) bid.
But Lyon plan to reject all approaches from suitors of Kallstrom, while also revealing plans to tie the former Rennes ace to a new long-term deal
"I held talks with Lyon on Friday, where they notified me that they do no want to sell Kim Kallstrom and that they want to negotiate a contract extension," agent Roger Ljung told Expressen.
