Theo Janssen has admitted an interest in playing abroad, amidst reports Tottenham are keeping tabs on the Dutch midfielder.
Reports in the Dutch press state Tottenham have posted scouts at Vitesse games, with Janssen rumoured to be the object of their desire.
The Dutch international has spent the majority of his career with Vitesse, but is keen to embark on a new challenge.
"I have always said that I would like to play somewhere else at some stage, if a nice club comes," the 25-year-old told De Gelderlander. "Tottenham Hotspur are a nice club."
Janssen, who is contracted to Vitesse until 2009, is refusing to get carried away by the speculation.
"I don't find these things important," he added. "As long as nothing is concrete, it doesn't make sense to go in for it."
