Jermaine Jenas believes Spurs have what it takes to get through a crucial four-game stint in 10 days to keep them in the hunt for European qualification and Cup glory.

Spurs will take on West Ham in the first of four games in fast succession before traveling to Portugal to play Braga in the Uefa Cup next week.

Martin Jol's side will also take on Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals before Braga make their return trip to White Hart Lane for the second leg of their Uefa Cup tie.

But Jenas says the young squad put together by Jol are strong enough to get through their busy fixture list.

"One thing we have on our side is youth, there are a lot of young legs out there," said Jenas.

"With the mixture of that and experience there is no reason why the players in the squad cannot perform at a high level for three games in a week."

Jenas has been in tremendous form since returning from an ankle injury in December, scoring four goals in his last five appearances for Spurs.

The 24-year-old has been integral to Spurs' improvement since December which has seen the club rise from the bottom half of the table to just three points away from a European position.

"That's mainly down to hard work," added Jenas.

"We know when we look around the pitch there are great individuals but to add to that we needed hard work and graft, grit and determination.

"Once we started to win those battles then our quality came through."
