Barnet beat last Wednesday's transfer deadline to add two central midfielders to their squad.

The Bees snapped up Tottenham Hotspur youngster Stuart Lewis on a short-term contract, having followed Spurs goalkeeper Robert Burch in moving to the League Two club.

The former England Under 16 captain has played reserve team football with Spurs, but will now have the chance for regular first-team action at Underhill.

Lewis is joined at Barnet by fellow midfield man Lawrence Constanti.

The 18-year-old PROTEC player impressed Fairclough in the club's reserves and was signed before the transfer deadline last week.

Meanwhile, Bees striker Liam Hatch (pictured) is set to see eye specialists on Tuesday after failing to shake off a problem in his left eye.
