Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to send Reto Ziegler on loan to Sampdoria for the remainder of the season.
The Swiss international has been largely anonymous this season in North London, making just four appearances for Martin Jol's side.
Ziegler also spent last term away from White Hart Lane as he played on loan for both Hamburg and Wigan, and another temporary switch has now been confirmed.
The 21-year-old moves to Samp to aid their challenge for a European finish in Serie A this season.
Ziegler is the fourth player to leave White Hart Lane in January, following hot on the heels of Edgar Davids, Calum Davenport and Marton Fulop.
