Tottenham goalkeeper Robert Burch has joined League Two side Barnet on a 28-day emergency loan.
Bees boss Paul Fairclough moved quickly to secure the services of 23-year-old Burch after Ross Flitney joined Lee Harrison on the injury list at the weekend with a groin problem and Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz was unavailable due to a family bereavement.
Fairclough told the club's website: "I have known Burch for a long time and had recently thought of signing him. His contract is up at the end of this season."
Burch, who has been at Spurs since 2002 but has so far failed to break into the first team, has previously had loan spells at Woking, Stevenage Borough, West Ham and Bristol City.
He added: "I am looking to getting some games and playing some football. I have learnt a lot off Paul Robinson, England's number one but I think I have done my coaching and I really need to start playing now.
"Barnet is a good club and have put a number of wins together of late and I am looking forward to getting a chance here."
He will go straight into the side for their league match with Notts County on Tuesday evening.
