NAC Breda have denied receiving an official approach from Tottenham for their exciting winger Leonardo.
The 23-year-old is out of contract next summer and reports in England suggested that Spurs had won the race for his signature ahead of Arsenal and Wigan.
While Breda admit that they have heard about some possible interest - they insist that no offer has been made.
"I hear in the corridors that there is interest for him, but no club have reported themselves yet," NAC technical director Earnie Stewart revealed.
"That report is much too premature. We hope that he stays in Breda."
The Brazilian only moved to NAC in January from Feyenoord, but he has earned rave reviews in his short time at The Rat Verlegh Stadion.
