Tigers loan Yeates

Hull City have landed Tottenham Hotspur man Mark Yeates on a season-long loan.

Hull City have landed Tottenham Hotspur youngster Mark Yeates on a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old arrives at The Kingston Communications Stadium for the current Championship campaign, despite recently signing a new two-year contract with Spurs.

It is the fourth time that the Dubliner has left White Hart Lane for a loan spell in the lower divisions.

Yeates has spent time on loan with Brighton & Hove Albion, Swindon Town and Colchester United, and the winger will aim to gain more experience with The Tigers.

Hull boss Phil Parkinson was impressed with the efforts of Yeates when he played for him at Colchester last season and he will hope for an even more positive input from the youngster this term.

Yeates's arrival in East Yorkshire comes after Parkinson signed midfielder Dean Marney for an undisclosed fee from Spurs this summer.
