Jermaine Jenas has rubbished reports that he is unhappy at Tottenham.

Reports over the weekend suggested Jenas was considering his future at White Hart Lane after growing disillusioned at the club.

Jenas, who is with the England squad at the World Cup, has moved quickly to reject the rumours and insists he is content with life at Tottenham.

"I'm very happy at Spurs, I said all along it was a perfect move for me and I was right," Jenas told the club's official website.

"It was great to help take the club back into the Uefa Cup.

"It was good to play so regularly last season and my performances at Spurs were recognised and got me into the World Cup squad, the pinnacle for any player.

"Martin Jol is fantastic to work with, he instils confidence in us all and has helped bring the best out of me.

"So while it's great to be here at the World Cup, I'm really looking forward to getting going again at Spurs next season."
