Tottenham Hotspur have offered striker Helder Postiga to Real Betis, according to the Spanish side.

The Portugal international marksman is unsure of his future at White Hart Lane under new boss Jacques Santini, and has been tipped for a move away from North London.

Seville side Betis say that Postiga is one of a number of players who have been offered to them, but they are not overly interested.

"He is one of the many players who are being offered to us daily," say the Spanish side.

"But it is not something that should be described as special."

New Betis boss Lorenzo Serra Ferrer is not thought to be too keen on Postiga, who only played a minor role for his country in Euro 2004.

Porto are said to be favourites to sign Postiga should he leave Spurs, but the player himself wants to know where he stands with Santini before deciding if he wants to move on.

"I will hope to arrive in London to know the intentions of the new trainer Jacques Santini and later I will decide," said Postiga.

"In my mind I only want to play and have the opportunity to impress. I do not like to be on the bench."
