Didier Zokora's agent insists Tottenham have made a bid for his client.
Spurs emerged as potential bidders for the St Etienne midfielder earlier this month - and now Franck Belhassen claims the North Londoners have push ahead and made a firm move.
"I know Tottenham are interested," Belhassen told the News of the World.
"I know they've already spoken with St Etienne and have made their first bid.
"But for the moment nothing is done.
"What is certain is that Damien Comolli knows Didier very, very well. And Didi is very, very interested in moving to Tottenham."
Zokora, currently with Ivory Coast ahead of their inaugural World Cup campaign, has caught the eye of a number of clubs in recent months.
Arsenal, Manchester United, Lyon and Real Madrid are all known to be keen admirers of the 25-year-old - whose future will be resolved this summer with St Etienne ready to cash in on one of their prized assets.
