TOTTENHAM defender Stephen Carr has hinted that he may have to leave White Hart Lane to fulfil his ambitions.
Carr has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle and the Republic of Ireland international has refused to rule a move out.
The right-sided full back, who has two years to run on his present deal at Spurs, admitted he wants to play in Europe and he is not sure he can achieve that with the North London side.
"I have two years left on my contract and who knows what could happen," said Carr.
"I don't think we can look at qualifying for the Champions League next season, we're not even in Europe.
"We need to progress and hopefully get the last Uefa Cup spot. There are a lot of clubs scrapping for that place and we'll need to be among them."
Carr also believes he is not back to his full fitness after missing the entire the 2001/2202 season with a serious knee injury.
He made a successful return last season and was named in the PFA Premiership team of the year, but the player feels he still has a lot more to offer.
"I think I am 30% away from what I was before the injury in terms of fitness, sharpness - everything," added Carr.
"I just don't feel as sharp as I was before the injury."
