FULHAM striker Luis Boa Morte has called on Jean Tigana to make a move for unsettled Tottenham ace Sergei Rebrov.

Rebrov is set to leave White Hart Lane now the transfer window has re-opened and has been in talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over a possible loan switch.

Fulham boss Tigana has had a long-standing interest in Rebrov and Boa Morte has urged him to make a move for the Ukrainian to boost his strike-force.

"If I was the manager I'd buy Sergei," said Boa Morte. "It's difficult because we have Barry Hayles out for the rest of the season, Louis Saha has been injured a long time and Facundo Sava has been injured.

"We need strikers. Our defence and midfield are okay at the moment.

"I'm not saying we're desperate up front because we have players like Steed Malbranque who can play as a striker.

"But if I was manager I'd get Rebrov for sure.

"He would fit in well here - he is a good player and would be good for the team."
