TOTTENHAM are expected to complete the capture of coveted Belgian teenager Jonathan Blondel on Monday evening, providing the midfielder passes a medical.
Blondel is due at White Hart Lane to undergo his medical on Monday and will officially seal his switch to The Premiership on the successful completion of tests.
The 18-year-old currently plays for Excelsior Mouscron but has agreed a four-year deal to join Glenn Hoddle's outfit.
He is rated as one of the hottest properties in the Jupiler League and was tracked by a string of Belgian clubs.
But Spurs have won the race to capture the Belgian Under-21 international with Mouscron chief executive Gino Gylain confirming Blondel's arrival in the capital.
Gylain told planetfootball.com: "He will arrive in London this evening (Monday) for a medical and, after that, it will be official."
Meanwhile, Mallorca are hoping Spurs follow up their tentative interest in Turkish World Cup star Fatih Akyel.
The Spanish outfit are entitled to 50 percent of any future transfer fee after they sold the full back to Fenerbahce following Fatih's unhappy spell in La Liga.
Spurs are reportedly plotting a é¼4.5 million raid for Fatih and Mallorca are rubbing their hands in anticipation of a windfall.
