KIM KALLSTROM has snubbed a string of high profile teams to complete a transfer to Djurgardens.

The Hacken midfielder, who has been courted by Heerenveen, Tottenham and Parma, has decided to continue his career in Sweden with Djurgardens.

After penning a five-year deal, Kallstrom said: "I decided myself a while ago, but the discussions have apparently taken some time."

Speaking about the decision to stay in Sweden, he told Sportbladet: "There were alternatives, but we all came to the conclusion that this was the best solution.

"I am 19-years-old and it is good for me to continue to play in the Allsvenskan for another year."

He expressed relief that the move has been concluded, adding: "It`s nice that it`s over. It has been tough, with calls every day; the same questions.

"Finally I can focus on football."
