Portsmouth striker Ryan Taylor has left Fratton Park after the club decided not to offer him a new contract.

The 27-year-old, who has been linked with Millwall and Oxford, held talks with new Pompey boss Paul Cook on Monday. A Pompey statement read: "Following talks between Ryan Taylor and the management team, it has been decided not to offer the striker a new deal. "Portsmouth Football Club would like to thank Ryan for his services to the Blues and wish him well for the future." Taylor joined Pompey from Bristol City in January last year and scored 10 goals in 41 appearances this season.
