Each week, Sky Sports experts review the Football League action on FL72. Check out Peter Beagrie's thoughts on the latest news...
From bad to worse for Blackpool
PETER SAYS: What a difference an hour makes.
The half-time teamtalk would have been to simply consolidate their lead and keep it tight.
Then Watford go on a goalscoring spree and win 7-2, but we know they are capable of that.
Lee Clark has inherited the problems from the start of the season. Blackpool are nine points adrift now, but if they held on at Watford, that would have been six, with a chance to increase the pressure on teams that are not used to be down there.
Now, it is going to be an incredible ask (for Lee Clark), even more difficult than keeping Birmingham up last year.
It is like a mini league at the bottom now, and it is imperative to get points against the other teams down there.
Wigan home form a worry after another loss
PETER SAYS: Wigan's problems really are the million dollar question.
There is a real lack of confidence, especially at home after a 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield. That is now the eleventh match they have not been successful at home.
A change of manager has not really changed things for them, and there looks like there will be a fire sale on the way.
They are a Premier League side and they are not used to being down there, and it will get worse when the squad gets picked apart.
Malky Mackay’s teams were built in his image - very solid at the back, and that is not the way Wigan have been playing.
Puzzling times at Charlton
PETER SAYS: Guy Luzon's availability could have swayed the decision.
Maybe there were contractual obligations that meant his pay-off was waived. We don’t know.
Only the manager and the man at the top of the football club know that.
It was a good point at Wolves though, and they were built to be much more solid from the back, and then countered well. They looked a real threat.
Business as usual for MK Dons
PETER SAYS: With Benik Afobe gone, Will Grigg might miss out, as the rotation won’t be there.
They are playing in such a manner going forward that it is exciting, it is just a matter of whether they can stay amongst the goals with Afobe missing.
They have brought in Clarke Harris and Devante Cole which have added to the quality players that were already there.
In the squad there are players that can create and those who can finish the chances off.
Portsmouth’s problems mounting after defeat
PETER SAYS: They have got to be very worried. Now the club has more to worry about that just financial problems.
As they have dropped down the divisions the support has stayed with them, and they have helped get the best players at the club for the particular division, with plenty of experience coming in, but it is not working out.
The fall from grace has been terrible. The situation is very difficult to turn around.
With such a number of fans in the ground, the pressure is huge, and it looks to be taking his toll.
