Portsmouth have yet to confirm the reported departure of first-team coach Alan McLoughlin.
McLoughlin, 47, is understood to have left Fratton Park following a meeting with manager Andy Awford on Thursday morning. Pompey said in a statement: "Portsmouth Football Club have noted the recent speculation regarding the backroom staff at the club. "At this stage, it would be totally inappropriate to comment on the future of any individual employed by the club. "The board have been in discussions with Andy Awford for several weeks about the restructuring of his backroom team. "These discussions are ongoing and once they have been concluded, the club will make a further statement."
