Portsmouth have confirmed the departures of Ryan Bird and Peter Brezovan by mutual consent.

Forward Bird, 26, had played three times for Pompey this season, and 25 times in total, since arriving from non-league Burnham last summer. Stopper Brezovan was released by Brighton at the end of last season before signing non-contract terms at Fratton Park on August 18. However, the Slovakian-born keeper never made a professional appearance for Pompey prompting his departure. The League Two club said in a statement on their website: "Portsmouth Football Club would like to thank Ryan and Peter for their services to the club and wish them well for the future."
