Miles Storey is confident of hitting the goal trail after joining Portsmouth on a season-long loan from Swindon.
The 20-year-old striker arrived at Fratton Park on Thursday in search of regular first-team football having made only nine starts in three seasons with the Robins either side of short stays at Salisbury and Shrewsbury.
"I've played for Swindon in fits and starts, but I think I've done better when I've played in successive games," Storey told Portsmouth's official website.
"If I get a chance in the side then I think the sharpness and confidence will soon follow. I believe I can do well and score goals."
Pompey had an average home attendance of 15,460 last season, the highest by a distance in League Two, and Storey is excited to play in front of the Fratton Park faithful.
"I know the fans here are fantastic and that was one of the main reasons for me wanting to come," he added.
"To play in front of so many people at Fratton Park will be amazing. You've got to have a bit about you to do that, so hopefully I can do well here."
