Portsmouth have confirmed that defender Marcos Painter has signed a new one-month contract at Fratton Park.
The left-back joined the League Two outfit in August and has made a total of 11 starts during his stay at Fratton Park. Having failed to register an appearance between early October and late December, Painter has featured in each of the club's last five matches and helped keep three clean sheets. The 27-year-old penned a short-term deal with Pompey following his release by Brighton in the summer but that deal was set to expire.
