Holmes buzzing for Bees trip

Preston winger Lee Holmes is relishing the prospect of a weekend trip to high-flying Brentford in League One.

North End are unbeaten in four matches since Graham Westley's departure as manager last month, including two wins and two draws under new boss Simon Grayson. "I think we have got a lot to build on," Holmes told the Lilywhites' official website. "Obviously we are in a good place with an unbeaten run, so I think we can build on that and give them a difficult game and come back with three points. "I think the lads have been playing really well and it is a case of trying to play as well as you can to try and keep the shape, so I think that is what everyone is doing. "Not only that but the side has not had as many injuries, so we have had a good squad for the manager to pick from and, more than that, it is a case of just trying to play as well as you possibly can and making it so the gaffer can't really leave you out."
