Winger had no hesitation in joining Swindon on loan again

Southampton winger Lee Holmes is looking forward to a second loan spell at Swindon Town after joining the League Two leaders until the end of the season. Holmes has recently completed a month-long loan at Oxford United after failing to start a game in the Championship for Southampton this term. He previously enjoyed a loan spell at Swindon in the 2004/05 campaign while he was at Derby and he had no hesitation in returning to the County Ground. "The months during my first spell here were probably the happiest three months I have had in football," Holmes told the club's official website. "I played a lot of football and won the young Player of the Year Award too. That was a while ago but I have really happy memories of my time here. "There are always decisions to be made in football, good and bad ones, but when Swindon came in for me it wasn't a tough decision to come back." The 24-year-old has already played against Swindon twice this season, firstly in Southampton's Carling Cup success back in August and more recently in Oxford's 2-0 win over Paolo Di Canio's side.
