Skysports.com understands Barnet forward Ricky Holmes is a target for a number of clubs after catching the eye this season.
The versatile Holmes has been one of Barnet's shining lights in a difficult start to the season.
Holmes won his move to Underhill in the summer of 2010 after finishing as top scorer in the Blue Square South with Chelmsford City.
The 24-year-old has chipped in with four goals so far this season and his performances have alerted clubs higher up the Football League.
A number of Championship and League One sides are thought to be keeping tabs on his progress at Underhill.
Barnet are keen to keep hold of Holmes, but could face a fight to fend off any firm interest when the transfer window reopens in January.
