Warnock eyes reunion with former Blades star

Skysports.com understands Queens Park Rangers are eyeing a move for former Portsmouth midfielder Michael Brown. Brown is available on a free transfer after leaving Portsmouth upon the expiration of his contract at Fratton Park. The former Tottenham and Manchester City man has not featured for Pompey since Boxing Day as one more appearance would have triggered a new contract on wages that the club cannot afford. QPR boss Neil Warnock is a huge admirer of Brown having worked with the midfielder during his time in charge of Sheffield United and is keen on being reunited with the player at Loftus Road. Hull City and Middlesbrough are both thought to be keen on Brown, but Warnock hopes the lure of one final crack at the Premier League will sway the 34-year-old to make the move to Rangers.
