Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson has joined League One outfit Brentford on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old, who was called up by Northern Ireland for the first time last year, has been drafted in to replace the injured Richard Lee just 10 days before the Bees meet Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley. Carson, who has just completed an eight-week spell at Lincoln, joins fellow Black Cat Adam Reed at Griffin Park.
