QPR boss aims to extend Spurs full-back's loan deal

Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock is planning to speak with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a loan extension for Kyle Walker. The full-back has impressed during his time at Loftus Road and Warnock wants to keep Walker for the remainder of the campaign. Walker's current deal expires in the New Year and Warnock hopes Tottenham will let the youngster stay at Loftus Road. "I will be speaking to him to give us an early decision on that, whether they'll extend Kyle Walker's loan or not," Warnock told the Kilburn Times. "We've been sending them videos and things like that, so he knows the situation and I'm sure he'll let us know as soon as possible." Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Gavin Mahon has signed a new one-month contract as he continues to build up his fitness following a knee injury. Mahon has yet to make an appearance for the Championship leaders this season, but has been offered new terms until mid-January.
