Forward commits future to Priestfield club
Gillingham have secured the services of Andy Barcham with the forward signing a new two-year contract at Priestfield.
The 22-year-old played a key role as Mark Stimson's men secured an immediate return to League One after arriving from Spurs, initially on loan.
His move was made permanent on a short-term contract in January and Barcham, who can operate on the wing or in a more central role, will stay with the Gills until June 2011.
Stimson said: "Andy came to the club last year and helped us achieve what we set out to do. To get him on a two-year deal is a major plus.
"There was a fair bit of competition to get his signature but we've beaten the other clubs to it.
"Andy is young and hungry and he puts everything into training and matches. It's a fantastic signing for Gillingham."
